By rotating the island to better engage the room, we introduced generous storage, a built-in microwave, and an inviting wrap-around wood counter that encourages gathering while maintaining clear work zones. The passage between the dining and breakfast rooms was reimagined as a refined entertaining hub, complete with a built-in coffee system, refrigerator drawers, wine storage, and illuminated cabinetry that showcases the clients’ glassware—keeping both morning routines and evening hosting effortlessly organized.
Distinct cabinetry finishes subtly define areas for prep, cooking, and cleanup, while key tasks are oriented toward the home’s windows to take full advantage of natural light and backyard views. Layered, programmable lighting enhances the atmosphere from day to night, and thoughtful details—from a waterproof wood countertop to a powered trash drawer and chef-grade appliances—ensure the space performs as beautifully as it looks.
