TEN YEARS IN THE DREAMING
Some things are worth waiting for. The homeowners designed a new kitchen and knew they would move it into the addition down the line, when they started the 2nd floor bedroom expansion, ten years prior. That time came. We revisited and enhanced the design plan and set out to build this well-appointed open kitchen design sparing no details or desired functionality.
Stunning cabinetry is a focal point throughout the kitchen, providing a breathtaking backdrop for cooking, entertaining and more. The dream stations feature a canine corner, command central, coffee and beverage station, food pantry, separate refrigerator and freezer, as well as the built-in china cabinet.
The centerpiece of the room is the walnut wood-topped custom-shaped island with truffle tones in the cabinetry that offset the bright clean and crisp white traditional cabinetry in the galley areas and outer perimeter. The new lighting plan is clean, artistic and adds to the wide-open feel of the floorplan.
