FURNISHINGS AND FINISHES MAXIMIZE ENJOYMENT
The abundance of space in this long dining room was not yet delivering delight. By claiming one end of the room to design and install a beautiful custom built-in china cabinet, we created new proportions to the room that brought both elegance as well as welcomed storage for the client’s stemware and wine collection. Bright white was the perfect complement to contrast the warm tones and textures of the custom upholstered dining chairs.
The new design of a modified tray ceiling creates a dramatic sense of depth, height, and ambiance, through careful use of molding, paint color and finish.
The installation of recessed lighting, a stunning drop pendant chandelier, and a custom-length dining table, all add to the impact of the room’s enjoyment.
