RESTORING STYLE AND FUNCTION
Sometimes when buying a new home, there is an awkward room or two that you know you’ll need to change if you buy the house. This home had a very modern kitchen that was definitely unique from the style of the rest of this traditional home. The owners knew they would be renovating the main floor to create the perfect flow for their busy family.
An entirely new experience was made possible by shifting the location of the entry into the mudroom from the kitchen. This small shift enabled the new design of a highly functional kitchen in the style of the home, as well as a well-appointed form and function for the family, dining and laundry, and mudrooms.
New furnishings throughout brought it all to life. With new and custom pieces that they love, they restored the character and style to their home that is now truly their own.
