A TOWNHOUSE MEDIA ROOM
This lower level family room was designed to be enjoyed by parents entertaining their friends, as well as by their college bound kids when they were home.
The homeowners love of the West Indies furniture design and colors informed the cabinetry. With turned posts, the rope detail on the drawers and doors, as well as the lattice, we were able to achieve that look.
The formality and symmetry of the media unit is balanced with the formality and symmetry of the wet bar. The wet bar houses a sink, under-counter storage and refrigerator, and features a custom wine rack above. The wall cabinets are back-lit to highlight the barware collection and spirits selection.
The reading bench was added to the left of the wet bar, making a full yet soft transition to a bedroom door. The use of bold fabrics in reds and burgundies add both warmth and dynamic color to the vibrant space.
It is amazing what is possible. Let’s have a conversation about your home and the space you’d like to transform. We look forward to speaking with you.
