Expanded by the Light

The kitchen’s footprint did not change, but the functionality and enjoyment did. By removing the wall cabinets on the exterior wall, and installing a wonderfully wide picture window, everything became illuminated.

The storage was restored and expanded in the flush wall of the tall craftsman cabinetry surrounding the wall ovens and custom-faced Sub Zero refrigerator freezer.

The love of mixing old with new to create warmth and modern character was evident throughout the home, and we brought that farmhouse feel to the kitchen. The custom metal range hood, and the custom-painted island base with a reclaimed wood countertop are design details that really deliver on the theme.

The new dry bar features a wood that complements the adjacent family room furnishings was custom-built with storage, open shelving to showcase their barware and house a hidden beverage refrigerator.

It is amazing what is possible. Let’s have a conversation about your home and the space you’d like to transform. We look forward to speaking with you.
