A luxury kitchen renovation goes far beyond functionality and aesthetics – it creates a high-performance, personalized and elegant space that elevates the everyday.
This suburban kitchen had a spacious footprint but several design challenges. We swapped out an awkwardly placed walk-in pantry with pull-out cabinets, full-height storage and an independent freezer. Relocating an exterior window created space for a custom hood and cooktop. The new oversized island has abundant storage and seating for four, making it ideal for casual family meals as well as entertaining.
The updated shaker cabinetry in three distinct finishes and a combination of full-access and inset construction styles creates a balance of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. With subtle hues on the walls and countertops, the overall color palette combines classic tones and modern sophistication while remaining light and airy, refined and elegant.
A sleek, handmade Zellige tile backsplash brings a timeless feel to the kitchen. The tiles were installed vertically at the cooktop for a unique twist on the traditional, drawing the eye upwards and adding texture to the space. The subtle shimmer of the tiles catches the light beautifully, adding an extra layer of charm to the design.
Investing in high-end, energy-efficient appliances and layered lighting made a huge difference, not only in the kitchen’s look but also in its functionality. The integrated appliances blend seamlessly with the cabinetry, creating a clean and cohesive aesthetic. For a touch of luxury, we added wine and beverage refrigerators, perfectly situated in the new bar area. Decorative sconces at the cooktop and LED uplighting along the cabinetry provide a warm, inviting glow and create a cozy atmosphere. To highlight the island, striking pendants work in tandem with recessed lighting, ensuring the kitchen is well-lit for both tasks and relaxation.
By incorporating classic and contemporary elements, we created a highly functional kitchen that exudes beauty, sophistication and luxury.
